OCD and Anxiety Therapy with Kayla Hemming, LAC

Kayla Hemming is a masters level psychotherapist who is an expert in exposure and response prevention (ERP) for OCD. She has developed this expertise through her current clinical experience, formal training, and ongoing weekly consultation. Kayla works with children as young as 6, adolescents, and adults who may feel overwhelmed by anxiety or exhausted by the demands of OCD.

What working with Kayla looks like

Therapy with Kayla is active and tailored to your goals. Kayla knows that facing fears can feel daunting, and she approaches each client with compassion, patience, and a clear path forward. Together, you’ll identify the fears and patterns that are keeping you stuck, then build a plan to face them step by step. Kayla uses ERP to help clients practice approaching feared situations while reducing the compulsions that offer short-term relief. She brings patience and warmth to this work and adapts each step for children, adolescents, and adults. Through weekly clinical consultation, she continues to deepen her ERP skills and stay thoughtful and effective in her work.

Sessions and payment

Kayla offers ONLY virtual therapy through a secure, HIPAA-compliant telehealth platform. Her private-pay fee is $185 per 55-minute session.

Kayla is not individually in network with insurance plans. For some Aetna and Horizon BCBS PPO plans, we may be able to bill for her services through Dr. Wacha under the plan’s supervisory billing rules. We’ll review your specific coverage and expected cost with you before scheduling.
